A young voice captures the sound, flavor, and spirit of Miami in the citywide search for an official Miami anthem

MIAMI, FL — June 29, 2026 — Miami has a new anthem moment — and it comes from a 12-yearold artist with a big voice, a bold vision, and a song made for the 305.

Soleil River Nation, a 12-year-old singer-songwriter, actor, multi-instrumentalist, and youth advocate, has been named the winner of Elevated Tracks 305 for her original song, “Miami on My Tongue.”

Created as part of Elevate Miami’s search for a song that celebrates the culture, rhythm, and identity of the city, “Miami on My Tongue” is a vibrant pop anthem infused with Latin-inspired rhythms, stadium-style chants, and the unmistakable energy of Miami. The song celebrates the city through taste, language, movement, music, fútbol, ocean air, and the freedom to be fully yourself.

For Soleil, the song is more than music — it is a love letter to the city that helped shape her voice.

“Miami is something you don’t just see — you taste it, hear it, feel it, and carry it with you,” said Soleil. “This song is about the languages, the food, the beach, the music, the people, the fútbol, and the freedom. It’s Miami on my tongue.”

The result is an anthem that feels youthful, joyful, and proudly Miami — a song built to be sung, shared, and celebrated.

Soleil’s win marks a major milestone in her rising artistic journey. Already recognized as a singersongwriter, actor, model, and advocate, Soleil continues to use her platform to connect creativity with purpose. Her work often centers around youth empowerment, ocean conservation, cultural pride, and the belief that young voices can make waves far beyond the stage.

“Miami on My Tongue” is expected to be released on July 3, with Soleil set to celebrate the anthem and Miami’s spirit during the city’s July 4 festivities.
