Soleil River Nation Is Taking the Field at Hard Rock Stadium | Miami Dolphins vs. New York Giants

There are hometown moments—and then there are the ones that feel a little bigger.
For 12-year-old Miami singer-songwriter, actress and youth advocate Soleil River Nation, one of those moments arrives Saturday, August 22, when she steps onto the field at Hard Rock Stadium to perform the U.S. National Anthem ahead of the Miami Dolphins vs. New York Giants preseason game.
For an artist whose emerging story has been deeply connected to Miami, the performance feels especially fitting.
“Being able to sing the National Anthem at Hard Rock Stadium in my hometown is such an incredible honor,” Soleil said. “Miami has given me so much, and I can’t wait to walk onto that field and sing for everyone.”
And lately, Miami has had plenty of reasons to take notice.
Soleil was recently named the Youth Winner of Elevated Tracks 305, where her original song “Miami on My Tongue” was selected as an Elevate Cities Miami anthem. The track celebrates the city through the perspective of a young artist raised inside its unmistakable mix of cultures, rhythms and communities.
That win is part of a growing résumé that already stretches well beyond what most 12-year-olds could imagine.
Soleil has performed at the FIFA Fan Festival Miami, appeared on NBC6 South Florida Live, and performed with an orchestra during Miami Beach’s Fourth of July celebration. She recently became a SAG-AFTRA member, while her entertainment work has also included Disney, national commercial and modeling projects, and original music releases.
But Soleil’s story is not limited to entertainment.
An ocean advocate with The Future Wavemakers, she has also brought her voice into conversations about environmental sustainability and emerging technology. Most recently, she spoke at United Nations Headquarters in New York during the Youth and AI Summit, contributing a young person’s perspective to discussions surrounding artificial intelligence, creativity and the environment.
It is that combination—artist, performer, advocate and young storyteller—that continues to define her path.
Soleil is also a multi-instrumentalist who plays piano, trumpet and guitar, and her growing career spans music, film, television, modeling and youth advocacy. Yet through each new opportunity, Miami remains a constant thread.
Performing “The Star-Spangled Banner” at Hard Rock Stadium now places her on one of South Florida’s biggest stages, in front of the community that helped shape her.
For a young artist already learning how to move between music, media and advocacy without losing the heart of where she comes from, this weekend’s performance feels less like an isolated milestone and more like another chapter beginning.
And this time, she gets to sing it for home.
