MIAMI, FL — June 9, 2026 — Rising young Filipino-American artist, performer, and Miami creative Soleil River Nation has been named a finalist in Elevated Tracks 305, the citywide search to help create an official anthem for Miami.
Her original song, “Miami on My Tongue, ” is a vibrant love letter to the city that raised her — a place where Latin rhythm, Caribbean soul, immigrant dreams, and global cultures meet. As a Filipina-American child growing up in Miami, Soleil brings a unique voice to the competition: one rooted in pride, gratitude, diversity, and the belief that Miami belongs to everyone who carries its spirit.
She is participating in Elevate Miami’s Elevated Tracks 305 competition with her single, “Miami On My Tongue.” The song is Soleil River Nation’s love letter to Miami — capturing the city’s heat, ocean air, mango sweetness, music, movement, and unmistakable creative energy.
“Miami on My Tongue ” captures the sound and feeling of a city known for its beaches, movement, language, music, food, and heart. Through Soleil’ s youthful voice and original artistry, the song celebrates Miami not just as a destination, but as a cultural home — one where a Filipino-American girl can grow up surrounded by Latin culture and still feel fully part of the city ’ s story. The song is set for official release on July 3, 2026, followed by a scheduled performance during the July 4th celebration in Miami Beach.
“This song is my love letter to Miami, ” said Soleil River Nation. “I’ m Filipino-American, and I grew up in a city full of so many cultures, languages, rhythms, and people. Miami makes you feel like the whole world is on one beach, one street, one song — and that’ s what I wanted people to feel.”
Elevated Tracks 305 is part of Elevate Miami, a civic celebration powered by Elevate Cities. The anthem initiative was launched in collaboration with Guitars Over Guns and the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami.
Soleil’ s finalist placement highlights the growing voice of young, multicultural artists shaping Miami’ s future. Her music reflects the next generation of Miami: diverse, proud, creative, and unafraid to blend cultures into something fresh and meaningful.
